Positivity is Power

Positivity is power! I’m not sure where I heard that quote first or if I can attribute it to anyone, but I think it’s pretty cool.

I get asked all the time, “Why are you always so positive? Don’t you ever have a bad day?” Yes, I do! I have bad seconds or even minutes in a day, but I don’t count that as an entirely bad day. Just because you have a not-so-great interaction with someone, or something does not mean that all of the 86,400 seconds that comprise your day are bad. You had a few bad minutes in your day, not a bad day.

When I do have those few bad seconds or minutes I always try to focus on the positive side of the interaction. What can I learn from it? I’m great at making excuses for people. Maybe they were having a bad few seconds or minutes in their day. I have no idea what’s going on in someone else’s life if they don’t tell me. I’m not a mind reader, and neither are you!

So stay positive and have an awesome day!
