How To Dumbbell Bench Press

The Dumbbell bench press gives you a greater range of motion over the barbell bench press. Muscles worked include the chest, shoulders, and triceps. Sit on a flat bench. Rest the dumbbells on your knees. Push your knees up using your feet and roll back onto the bench. Start with the dumbbells about chest height. Arms at about 45 degree angle. Push the dumbbell straight up over your head. Pause briefly at the top. Slowly lower the dumbbells until fully extended. Pause at the bottom and feel the stretch. Avoid dropping your chest. Overarching your lower back. Lifting your hips off the bench. Pushing your head into the bench and not lowering the dumbbells far enough. Feel that stretch.
